A Daydream

Thousands of miles, this journey had taken me. Thriving cities, humble country sides, green pastures, deserts, mountains, snowfalls. The train had come to a halt. Perhaps, it was exhausted by a journey so long. It's quite outside, snowing. And through this half broken window panes a whole world I see. Unpaved roads leading to nowhere. Yet in the strangest of places I see a familiar face. The slightest of breeze kissing her silken hair, them dancing to the sweetest of melodies. Eyes, shining, like casting an unbroken spell, stealing everything she looks. Here I am, running away from the memories I once held so dear. And here I am reminiscing them. There was never an escape. Thousands of miles, what difference does that make. The body travels, the mind hasn't moved. Maybe it doesn't know how to. Still holding to something which I now realize, was only a day dream.

A Promise

The treacherous winds may push the sails back
Holding me, the ocean that never forgives
It breaks everything I hold dear
Yet I'll never mend the broken
In the ravaging tides I might drown
Consumed by the idea of never seeing you again
It kills me, I die and will you ever forgive
But here I promise, from the seven gates of hell,
Defying death and burrowing the dead
I will come, just to see you again
I hope life would be kind enough
If not in this lifetime, the others to come!

A Symphony in the Rain

Its a silent dance, alone in the dark

A song sans the melody

The violent notes, fades in and out

And the lines, carved from memory

Wretched heart beats, longing to talk

For A love, drenched in agony

The Station

The breeze is soothing. It almost takes away the languidness of the exasperating heat. Today seems special, the wind ceases to be silent, and is filled with drum beats reminiscent of the forgotten times. The station, slowly prepares itself for the arrival of the next train. I could see different people around me, some smiling, a few in absolute no nonsense mood, and others lost in their own made up world seemingly awaiting their forward journey. A quiet station is suddenly filled with life. All seeking a destiny prewritten, content in their forged will being realized. I do not know where this train goes. Mine is supposed to come after.

Destination is a crazy word. Do we ever truly have one? I wonder if it is something we make up along the way, changing them with convenience. But today, i have a destination. And while the squealing sound of the rails seems to get closer, I feel an inner urge to embark on a wild journey. Maybe, this is the quest that I subconsciously sought, yet was too afraid to pursue. I do not know where this train goes. . Would it be wise to wait, for a route I was supposed to take.

And then the train has arrived. I see a carriage right in-front of me, with doors wide open. I sense a calling, to the unforeseen future, uncharted, dark and fearful. Yet, it was that fear that was holding me back. Throwing caution to wind, bidding goodbye to the fear, I am trusting this journey. A journey without a destination, a leap of faith!

Ages

The smoke from the chillum clouded the chilling air of the Mansarovar. Beyond the ailing wind and freezing cold, a shadowy figure appeared, taking repeated puffs from the grey ash smoke tube held in his arms. The heavily muscular built man was merely covered in golden tiger skin,  beads wrapped around his arms and neck, and marked with brutal battle marks all over his body. And the strangest of them, the one he bore on his forehead, right in between his eyes, was reminiscent of his past....
his 'Sati'.

It was a beautiful tale, one which was destined to be preached for ages to come.
It all started on that day, the day a tribal man fell in love with a princess, the day etched in the leaflets of time.
His mind wandered in the thoughts.....that day....

                       --------------------------( \|/ )--------------------------

The manly tribal man glimpsed at the marvelous architecture of the Vaishnava temple. The stone scriptures adorned the tall walls, seemingly depicting some sort of a folktale. The structure supported a round dome, visually appealing columns were carefully placed, provisioned not to disturb the comfort of the visitors. It was more like a serene atmosphere of a secluded garden, than a religious building dedicated to chants and rituals. He felt the pain of an exhausted journey, he had come a long way, and was sweating profusely. He had come to the temple for meeting the sage Vishwanayaka, known for his extraordinary knowledge and believed to be of divine heritage, to seek the answers to what left him hopeless in front of that child.

It was that little child's belief, that he could save his mother that deeply wounded him. It was as though that innocent mind mistook him for someone inhuman. And here he is now, galloping his way, away from his native place, seeking answers to rid a feeling of guilt.

The temple hallways seemed empty, there were none to even help him find his way towards the sage. But he kept on following the attractive mosaic footpath, his destiny seemed to await him beyond the path. The long corridor merged to a large central courtyard, decorated beautifully with flowers and garlands. There were very few people in the circular space, his eyes wandered around until it came to a sudden halt. Before he knew it, he was staring at her

The breeze brushed past her silken hair, seemingly dancing to a melody, swaying along in a rythm. Her eyes, he felt like never stop looking for the rest of his life,  allowed nothing be noticed. And the smile, it was a moment that he would have lived a million lifetimes over and over again searching for it, left him in a stunned state. His breath was the only thing he could hear. The tribal had never seen anything like this, never had he felt this strange feeling in his strong heart.
The tribal man has fallen in love.

He stood in the courtyard, rooted to the ground, gazing at someone whom he felt, deep inside, was part of his soul. He felt like this was someone he couldn't afford to lose.
But then...reality got a grip on him
What was he?,
A tribal man! Wandering away from where he belongs, starting to dream about something he would never have. He knew this could only end up in one thing...a dreadful feeling called pain.
He knew.... that answers he seeked was always within him. It was just the questions he got wrong.

With these thoughts he turned away, leaving the love of his life, not even daring to steal her sight. "Good bye...dear",he murmured. With heavy steps, he walked , his heart feeling a pain he could hardly bare. Yet he walked.....

This was all meant to be an end.....
but...
life... is sometimes really strange....
and strange it was....
 it was only a beginning.
Destiny...had intervowen their lifes.... the tribal was meant to meet his princess again.
It was the begginning of a saga... one that would live within generations to come...

              -----------------------------( \|/ )-------------------------------

The tribal took a long puff from his chillum, it had become his refuge to spare him the pain. Many years have passed, ages have passed, no longer is the other half of his soul alive, but his love never dies. With a pain in his heart,
he still remembers her final words,
 " Live a life.....Sh.."

That's Why You Have To Say NO!

No, No and No!
I can't say No,
But when I don't say a No,
I can't see a happiness in No, No!

Sometimes you ought to say a No,
But selfless to hurt others by a No,
That others take the chance, to say me No,
Which gives me the bitterness of No!

THAT'S WHY YOU HAVE TO SAY NO!

Realização

Hey...

Driving my bike is an all time emotion for me.

The first thing that I would like to do when I'm home is ride my beast.
(By the way my wheel is Royal Enfield Electra)

For the previous three to four months I feel something different when I ride through one of the most frequent roads I used to ride.

It seems pretty odd, as I feel something haunts me, when I'm taking those curves.

It feels like someone stares me throughout the time until I'm crossed.

On a sudden look to my right, I saw an old man staring at me, which was quite a shock!

Once I returned home, my mind was still lost in those blazing eyes of the old chap sitting with legs folded, his face wrinkled and in despair.

I thought the whole night, 'Why had he starred at me all the time?' ,'Why did I get a haunting feel?'

At last my mind wandered to the roots of my past, to my childhood.

Once when I was a child, I used to stare at a man who rode a beast, a Machismo in my place, and the way he took those curves.

The old man who I saw there, may have been a RIDER,
and I think that's my Realization!
